Lyra Isadora

Lyra Isadora paints the way other people snack: constantly, and always with something new in reach. Born in Boston, raised in Brooklyn before Colorado claimed her for good, she's now a river rat in summer, a ski bunny in winter, and an abstract artist year-round. Watercolor, acrylic, cardboard, clay. If it holds pigment or takes a shape, she'll try it.

On weekends you'll find her at the local coffee shop, travel watercolor kit open next to a half-eaten cinnamon roll, painting and meeting new people while she tells them about the current fantasy novel she's obsessed with.

Her work doesn't sit still. Rivers bend into color fields, mountains lose their edges, clay gets molded into shapes that are both recognizable and completely surprising. Lyra paints the way she lives: in bright multi-colored arrays, mid-conversation, and full of energy.
